UPDATE: The Lady Bears' game started 38 minutes ago because I am apparently incapable of reading things I cut and paste. The Lady Bears are leading 32-27 with about 2:40 left before the half. If you are somewhere in Texas, you should be able to watch that game on FSSW or one of its affiliated channels. It's Senior Night (day) for the Lady Bears, so they will be honoring seniors Terran Condrey, Ashley Field, and Lindsay Palmer.

Since SBNation doesn't have a separate game thread posting system for WBB yet (it's not out of disrespect, they just haven't been asked to do it before this season and need time), we can use this thread as the GDT for the women's game. Here is the preview for their game from BaylorBears.com:

UPDATE:

Baylor MBB:

Our MBB team takes on Iowa State in their final Big XII conference game of the regular season tonight in Ames at 7 PM. The BaylorBears.com preview is worth looking at, as is the stellar work done by ODB's own Tim Watkins earlier this week.

A few other links about the game:

CBSSports says the Bears are trying to build momentum going into the conference tournament. ESPN says exactly the same thing except they have a few charts and stats.

The FW Star-Telegram takes a look at Baylor F Quincy Miller, who you may remember tweeted recently that he will return next season.

Baylor Baseball:

On the strength of Kyle Turley's arm (7.0 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 6 K), Baylor improved to 8-2 on the season last night against UC-Irvine. Irvine probably wont' be a great team this season, but it's still a good win for Baylor Baseball. Their next game is this afternoon at 2 against Lamar with junior RHP Max Garner taking the hill. They also play tonight at 6 PM against Irvine again.

Baylor Softball:

Baylor's ball-playing ladies won a pair of games last night against ranked teams, #18 Oregon and #24 UNC, without allowing a single earned run on the evening. Junior Courtney Repka stymied the Ducks in the first game before sophomore Liz Paul dominated the Tar Heels (are they the Lady Heels? I have no idea) in the second. #10 Baylor is now 14-2 on the season. The only bad news is that their "next" game is actually taking place right now and I believe they are down 9-4 against UCLA.

After the girls' game at noon and before the MBB game at 7, I'll do another mini-DBR with just football stuff, including my thoughts on Baylor's revised spring schedule.
