9. Baylor (21-4, 8-4 Big 12) lost to No. 7 Kansas, 68-54, lost to No. 4 Missouri, 72-57. This week: Iowa State (Monday), Kansas State (Saturday). In the Bears’ two losses this past week, Baylor was exposed by two players Coach Scott Drew likely wasn’t worried about. Against Kansas, the Bears allowed forward Jeff Withey to score a career-high 25 points, and three days later, Missouri’s Phil Pressey put up 19. A loss this week would be devastating for Baylor.

3. Baylor: Not many teams in the country had a worse week than the Bears, who were humiliated in blowout losses to Kansas and Missouri. Baylor looked ill-prepared in both games and cowered under the national spotlight. Leading scorer Perry Jones III accounted for just nine points on 3-of-20 shooting in the two losses. It’ll be gut-check time for Scott Drew’s team when it hosts Iowa State on Monday.
