There's not a ton of news out there for Baylor Athletics this morning, so if you have anything interesting, leave a link in the comments!

Fifth-year senior Lanear Sampson has seen the Bears grow from the punching bag of the Big 12 to a potential title contender across his career at Baylor, and the team-oriented receiver hopes to both lead the team as a mentor to the younger members and help the Bears on to "big things." Art Briles would have rather had a game this weekend before next weekend's match up with TCU, but hopes to show that the Bears are a national quality team against the Horned Frogs this Saturday. The game against TCU will be televised on FSN and kickoff is 6:00 PM Saturday.

Baylor Basketball has a talent loaded team, but only the backcourt has solidity, according to ESPN's Andy Katz. Two members of the Bears are in CBS' Top 100 College Basketball players, with the CBSsports.com team raking senior guard Pierre Jackson 23rd and freshman center Isaiah Austin 52nd. Dick Vitale picks Baylor as number 8 in his pre-season top 40.

Baylor's new TV deal with Fox has been covered on this site, but here are some of the details of the media agreement. Fox Sports will have the rights to air one Baylor football game, all available men's basketball games, and a package of women's basketball games on their selection of networks, though most events will likely show on Fox Sports Southwest.
