There's Lady Bear basketball tonight! The Baylor women's basketball team hosts Oklahoma City in the first exhibition game of the year at the Ferrell Center and looks to start the defense of last year's national title. Here's to another fantastic season!
Baylor Soccer had three players named to the All-Big 12 Second team, with defenders Carlie Davis and Kat Ludlow and offensive specialist Dana Larsen being honored. This is the first time since 2001 that Baylor has had multiple players named to any all-conference team. Freshmen Bri Campos and Katie Daigle were voted onto the All-Newcomer Team, as well, for their work in helping the Bears finish their season with an excellent 14-1-4 record, including a 9-0 home record.
Baylor women's golf moved into a tie for 5th place after the second day of play at the Alamo Invitational yesterday, though sophomore Haley Davis slipped from first to fifth, despite only being 3 shots behind the leader. The Lady Bears hope to continue improving throughout today, and Davis looks to win her first career tournament, after placing second overall in five times in 15 tournaments. The men's golf team is currently tied for 13th at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate.
Baylor Football met the press yesterday about this week's Homecoming game against Kansas, and looks to escape the plague of poor performance (nice alliteration there, Baylor Lariat.) Speaking of Homecoming, if you're looking for the schedule of events and festivities, look no further.
