Nick Florence was named a Davey O'Brien Award Semifinalst yesterday. This presigious award, won last year by Baylor's Robert Griffin III, honors the nation's top quarterback, and voters are asked to consider a quarterback's skills, academics, character, leadership, and sportsmanship. Fans can now go vote for Florence, and the three finalists will be announced on November 19th.

Baylor Tennis' Julian Lenz won two matches in straight-sets yesterday to remain perfect at the USTA/ITA Regional Championships, and the 14th-seeded freshman will face third-seeded Daniel Whitehead of Texas for a chance at the automatic bid for the UTSA/ITA National Indoor Championships next month.
