Baylor Football faces Texas this weekend, as I'm sure you all know, and the Texas they are facing has had several key injuries. Despite quarterback David Ash having a broken wrist, he will be playing this Saturday against the Bears, but defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat will not take his place against the Baylor offense. Speaking of the Baylor offense, it's made quite the name for itself with alums such as Kendall Wright and current members such as Terrance Williams, and that name is a siren call for talented receivers, such as Vequan Jones.

Baylor Men's Basketball was ranked 18th in the preseason Coaches Poll as released by USA Today yesterday. Head coach Scott Drew and members of the team participated in the Big 12 Media Day in Kansas City yesterday, and has the transcript of the 10-minute press conference coach Drew gave as a part of the day. Baylor point guard Pierre Jackson is "highly motivated" as the season begins and hopes to live up to being the Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year.

Baylor Volleyball defeated TCU yesterday in a fierce 5-set match that saw the Bears come back from deficits twice, including being down 7-3 in the 5th set, benefiting from TCU having too many players on the floor and forfeiting a point. The Bears are now 15-7, 2-5 in conference play and will face conference newcomer West Virginia on October 20th at 2:00 PM in the Ferrell Center.

Brittney Griner was invited to the ESPN studios to take part in the ESPN "Car Wash" yesterday, and Sic 'Em Sports Productions has a video recap of her day and you can find the audio for her appearance on Mike and Mike on
