I don't have a lot of time to search out the links this morning, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew about the tragic events affecting Oklahoma State today.

Last night, a plane carrying OSU women's basketball coach Kurt Budke and assistant coach Miranda Serna crashed in Perry County, Arkansas.  The pilot and another individual were on board the plane.  There were no survivors.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that our hearts go out to the Oklahoma State community and family for this terrible tragedy.  For a school that had to endure a similarly unspeakable event just ten years ago, I can't imagine the pain your program, your school, and your fans feel right now.

ESPN.com has an article and video up with more information for anyone wishing to know more about what happened.

I'm going to put something up about this later once I get a better chance to look at the documents themselves, but the other piece of news worth posting at this point is that a collection of emails related to A&M's departure from the conference have been acquired by investigative reporters.  Included in those emails is an exchange between Baylor President Ken Starr and A&M President Dr. Loftin.

Another interesting email talks about ESPN supposedly threatening a member of the conference to attempt to strongarm them into moving a game to the LHN.  It's hilarious to me that Bill Byrne, who didn't go to A&M, calls UT "tu" repeatedly in this and other emails.
