Baylor Men's and Women's Tennis Teams Sweep Big 12 Championships

Baylor Athletics

We don't often highlight the successes of the so-called "country club sports" around these parts, and it's time for that to change.

Baylor's athletic teams won their record sixth and seventh Big 12 Championships of the 2013-2014 school year today when the Men's and Women's Tennis programs each won the conference tournament.  Congratulations, ladies and gentlemen!

Our tennis teams now join football and women's basketball as Big 12 Championship teams this season.  This is the seventh title for Women's Tennis and the first since 2011.  For the Men, this is title #8. If you have an account, jump on twitter and give them a shoutout at the links above.  Or you can reach the coaches directly (I'm sure they'd love to hear from you) at @BUScrivano (Coach Scrivano, WTennis) and ... well, I don't think Matt Knoll is on twitter.

Congratulations again!
