Iowa State's senior linebacker and potential All-American Jake Knott is reportedly out for the game tomorrow in Ames.
According to the Iowa State Daily, ISU's Jake Knott will miss tomorrow's game with a shoulder injury he suffered earlier in the season and then re-aggravated against Oklahoma State this past weekend. I was actually typing up the defensive portion of this week's preview as the news broke, so I will go back now and change a few things around.
Knott is one of the best players on the Cyclone team and their leading tackler. He, along with fellow linebacker A.J. Klein, are the heart and soul of the Cyclone D, which is their best unit. This is a big loss for Iowa State.
