A L in the standings wasn't the only thing result from last night's game for Baylor's football team, as Baylor dropped from the "receiving votes" category in both polls.
If you were hoping that voters in the AP and Coaches' Polls might see our game last night as a fluke and give us the benefit of the doubt, 1) you obviously haven't been a fan of Baylor Athletics for every long, and 2) you were wrong. Both Polls dumped us rather unceremoniously while retaining 6 (7 for the Coaches') of our conference mates in one form or another. 5 make the actual rankings in both polls with Kansas State leading the way and Oklahoma moving back into the Top 10 on the strength of their domination of the Longhorns.
I'm not going to quarrel with the rankings because the team that played TCU last night was not at all worthy of the Top 25. I wouldn't be surprised to see us off the BlogPoll completely this week, as well. We're not voting for the Bears, that's for sure.
