Last week Josie Drago, Assistant Director of Marketing for Baylor Athletics (https://mobile.twitter.com/BeatsByDrago), asked if we liked the music at Floyd Casey. It's been a great change and has gotten the crowd into the game at a much higher level. We all know this is an important goal of Coach Briles - making our house a tough place for our opponents. Sitting up in Bear Heights at several games over the past few years I can't tell you how strange, yet wonderful, it was to see all the rows of senior citizens gettin' their groove on during each Baylor win (especially OU and Texas).
We always have a playlist in our family for each football season. We're classic rock fans. That means we ascribe to the theory (fact) that after the mid 80's nothing memorable has been written. Can you name anything from the 90's worth singing again?
Anyway, here are some selections from our recent playlists that help get us ready for another unbelievably believable Baylor football season...
- Rise Up (still)
- Rock the Casbah
- Immigrant Song
- Word Up (Korn)
- Barracuda
- Don't Stop Believin'
- Lay It On The Line
- Take it to the Limit
- Things Can Only Get Better
- Urgent
- Runnin' Down a Dream
- Rock You Like a Hurricane
- Uprising
- U Can't Touch This (sorry)
- R.O.C.K. in the USA
- Don't Look Back
- Know Your Enemy
- Headlong Fight
