Lost in the excitement over Baylor's Junior Day today is the fact that we're playing a basketball game against the Iowa State Cyclones tonight in Ames. A road win tonight is critical for Baylor to have any hope at winning the conference.

Since Baylor sits at 5-2 in conference play at the moment, a loss drops the Bears to no better than tied for 3rd with these same Cyclones. Hopefully the Bears show up tonight with more consistency than we've seen recently and put together a good performance on the road. I'm not incredibly hopeful that happens since we've never won in the Hilton Coliseum before. That's why winning our home games against teams like ... say ... OU is so important.

Baylor hits the road to Ames, Iowa, to face Iowa State at 7 p.m. CT Saturday on ESPN2. The Bears are looking for their first-ever win at Hilton Coliseum.
At the time of this writing, Baylor is a 4-point underdog. That's probably for a reason.
