In March, McLane and his wife, Elizabeth made a donation large enough to bankroll a new football stadium for the university; the amount of the donation was not disclosed, but Forbes estimates it was north of $200 million.
From Forbes' profile on Drayton McLane Basically no chance his donation was $200 million, else we wouldn't have to worry about cutting things like the Bear Pit or the glass building. Last I heard was $60 million. No paltry sum, obviously, but still.
