"I hope as the season progresses his carries progress and his yards-per-carry stays the same, because it is pretty good right now," Briles said, grinning. "I really like Lache. Lache's been really good. The thing I like about him is his attitude and his personality. He's really working hard in practice, doing a good job, doing all he can do to give himself a chance to get on the field."

"I'm all for him, and hopefully as it progresses and as he becomes more comfortable with everything, that (his carries) will increase. He's a smart guy, without question, and you've got to have those guys that can ignite, and he can ignite."
