But the Bearkats managed to put more than the obligatory scare in the Bears before Baylor’s second half charge led to a deceptive 48-23 victory before a crowd of 44,856. "Our first half was awful," Baylor quarterback Nick Florence said. "Our defense came up huge in the second half."
