Ricardo Gathers - "Intensity, hard work, physicality, and dominance"
In reviewing past articles I happened upon an interesting trend. The High school basketball players I've described as "jump out of the building athletes" or as possessing "next level bounce" to a man need to add significant bulk/muscle in preparation for the collegiate game. The few profiled whom currently possess the physicality/strength to bang in the NCAA tend to play a little closer to the ground and hold average to above average athleticism. Whatever each may have lacked in athleticism or physical stature was more than compensated for by above average to even superior holdings in other skill sets and attributes. Damn near scary would prove a 17-18 year old High school hooper whom combined the hops and quicks of the high level athlete with the brawn and brute force of an in the lane banger....Damn near scary...meet Ricardo Gathers. >>> For the full story >>>
