I'll update this thread as more information becomes available. At the risk of jinxing things, I would expect that a live press conference would bode well for Baylor's chances. Perry Jones III, Quincy Miller's predecessor in so many ways, held a press conference last year to announce that he was returning and did not this year when he decided to leave. That announcement was communicated by press release. Only one example, sure, but I can't imagine Baylor holding a press conference in a relatively conspicuous location on-campus only for the player to say that he's leaving school after one year for the NBA.
