Two plays into the game and Baylor is not just going to beat TCU, but blow them out! Then comes our next 5 offensive possessions before halftime...Interception, Interception, 20 Yard Punt, Fumble, Punt. And we are down 35 to 7 at Half and we have NO chance of winning! What?...Oh, we weren't down by 28....

We where only down by 7? Yes.

Really... with our terrible defensive? YES!

Our defensive then proceed to give up 35 points in the second half. I agree with multiple other people I have read about the third down defensive...or lack there of. I got very tired of getting them stopped on first and second just to hear the 3rd down music(I heard Black Betty a couple of times :-)) and then see a 8 yard pass when it was 3 and 6! But was the defensive the biggest problem....I say NO!

In the same time period, our Offensive had 2 more interceptions and 1 more fumble making a total of 6 turnovers lost in the game. To put that number in prescriptive Florida, Kansas St., Miss St. just to name a few have only had 4 the WHOLE season. West Virginia has only lost 3! I don't have the number of statistical companies that ESPN has working for them(Ok, I have none) but I can say pretty confidently that only a hand full of teams have ever had 6 turnover lost in a game and won! It's too hard to overcome and you put your defensive it terrible positions.

The Offensive(the good son) is the one to blame for this All-night drinking party(Varsity Blues Ref). Let's hope everyone plays better against the longhorns!
