The early game of the week sees Oklahoma State as a 14 point favorite hosting Iowa State. With the recent play of Iowa State's defense, and the performance of OSU’s offense against Kansas, that seems a little high. Television is at 11 a.m. on FX.
Next up, TCU hosts Texas Tech in a game that is currently a pick. I’d have to think that Tech will be a slight favorite as we get closer to game time. This is a 2:30 game on ABC (regionally) or ESPN2.
Oklahoma comes off the emotional win against Texas in the biggest mismatch of the week as a 35 point favorite over Kansas. 35 points seems like a lot, but it is Kansas. TV is on FSN at 6:00.
In what should be the best game of the week, West Virginia is currently a 3 point home favorite over the 3rd ranked Kansas State Wildcats. This is also a 6:00 game, this time on FOX.
In the “late” game, Texas is a 10 point favorite over our very own Baylor Bears. As of this writing, there are conflicting reports over the condition of Texas QB David Ash, after he suffered a wrist injury in the loss to Oklahoma. In addition, Texas DE Jackson Jeffcoat has been ruled out of the game with a pectoral injury. For reasons beyond comprehension, this is a prime time, 7:00 game on ABC.
All games are on Saturday, October 20th. All times CST. All lines from betonline.ag.
